The Course
This training helps you learn practical skills for a successful practice.
You will explore Kambo’s physical, scientific, mystical, energetic, and spiritual aspects. We will honor the indigenous tribes’ tradition of using Kambo but also incorporate modern Western knowledge.
Safety is important, and you will learn about contraindications, precautions, and first aid.
In theory class, you will receive lots of factual information based on true stories and experiences from our community.

Making Sananga
The workshop will teach you how to prepare Bechete, the Matsés version of Sananga.
We will use freshly shaved roots and bark from the Tabernaemontana Undulata bush, sent by The Matsés community.
This will provide us with different intensities of eye drops to try during the course.

The Venue
We will be staying in a beautiful private country house. Rooms and bathrooms will be shared between 2-3. Bedsheets and towels are provided. Laundry room and Wifi are available.
Our venue has a beautiful garden with a heated pool, fire pit, and magnificent lake views.
We will try and do all ceremonies and practical work outdoors, provided the weather allows it.

Lake Chapala
Lake Chapala is situated at a similar latitude as Puerto Vallarta or Western Sahara. It is nestled in the Mexican Highlands, elevated at approximately one mile/1520 meters above sea level. This higher elevation has a cooling effect on the temperature, resulting in average highs ranging from 70°F/20°C to occasionally reaching 80°F/30°C, while lows typically drop to around 50°F/10°C.
The area has beautiful hikes and traditional small towns like Ajijic and Jocotepec. There are convenience and drug stores within walking distance.
It is not recommended to go into the water due to pollution. Several spas in the area take advantage of local thermal waters.
